Pectus excavatum (funnel chest)

Pectus excavatum is a malformation of the chest wall in which several ribs and the sternum grow abnormally, resulting in a caved-in, or sunken appearance. While the vast majority of pectus excavatum cases are not associated with any other condition, some disorders may include the sunken chest feature of pectus excavatum, including Marfan syndrome, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, Noonan syndrome, Rickets, congenital scoliosis etc.
